Replicas are happy to announce the beginning of a new collaboration between them and DIGITARIA clothing brand. It will start from the next Discovery party on October the 3rd and for the whole upcoming season, and for all the rest of their public appearances as well. The aspect of this special fashion brand expresses perfectly the Replicas' concept and identifies their style. Digitaria is an avant-garde label,with modern, edgy design lines.

Digitaria is an innovative fashion label offering bespoke tailoring and strong silhouettes by designer Eleftheria Arapoglou and creative director Stavros Karelis. Arapoglou & Karelis have collaborated on numerous projects before starting Digitaria in 2008 in Greece . After the successful launch of their Athens showroom, Digitaria team created a retail/gallery space in London . Our Soho Showroom includes a gallery space curated by performance artist Scottee -responsible for programming a series of events over the next 18 months, from knitting circles to performance salons. The space has also showcased some of the worlds elite artists including - James Unsworth, Caron Geary & Elizabeth Eamer. Scottee's debut t-shirt collection 'One Size Fits All' is already launched from July. The Digitaria collection is available exclusively in our store accompanied by a limited diffusion range from London DJ Warboy and new label from Millie Cockton - Euphemia.We have also commissioned artists James Unsworth; who has designed and printed unique wallpaper for our ground floor and Lee Benjamin who has made the Digitaira mannequins - Benjamin is renowned for his work with Leigh Bowery, his debut collection 'Sartorium' is now available exclusively at Digitaria. Digitaria London aims to bring a fresh approach to the industry, combining fashion, art, music and performance to create interactive spaces you want to shop in.

discovery : the birthday

Replicas make a strong comeback with second DISCOVERY party, 3 months sharp after the first successful party of this series. The occasion is the completeness of one year since the day of their creation and the beginning of a new season.

Replicas have their birthday and they celebrate it in BIOS on Saturday 3/10 among friends and partners, with whom they lived unforgettable parties and shared unique moments the past year. Between them, Andrea Gorgerino, founder member and representative of JBAG, responsible with Jerry Bouthier for a number of remixes in some of the greatest artists of the international music scene. Undoubtedly, they are the hottest name in European clubbing and really in demand from famous designers in fashion weeks. It is known, that JBAG are the beloved kids of Vivienne Westwood and they make exclusively the soundtrack for her fashion shows.

The line up is completed by Vinyl Bitches, Tareq, Scissorz and MK7. Overall, 8 DJs, who promise a super dj set with selections from all electronic music dimension.

Replicas invite you to celebrate with them one year on dexx and have fun with them until the morning comes. Replicas discover the birthday!

On Friday the 3rd of July at Yoga Bala, Replicas present the first event titled Discovery. These events are exactly what their name mean: “discovery”. So, in every event we will share a special experience and we will discover something different. In first Discovery we’ll taste a bit of the future. New sounds mixed up in a very unique way from the upcoming Scissorz and Avgeria Stapaki and also the Replicas.
On the other hand, replicas are increasing more and more. Advanced models that were made to play music and lift the crowd up. Future is here. With futuristic style and in mood for regeneration, for one more time, a machine fulfils the needs of a human being, which are dancing, feeling good and having a good time until the sun comes up.

"Following on from the huge success of our Valentine’s Day party, Blitz Remixed returns for a megamix rewind back to the hedonistic birth New Romantic and New Wave Electro. Featuring a very rare live appearance from original ‘Blitz Kid’ and the man behind seminal 80’s band Visage - STEVE STRANGE. Alongside 2 rooms of DJs, drinks promotions, 80’s décor and The Blitz Dancers. Steve Strange’s legendary night was favoured by 80’s glitterati and was the hang out of the now legendary, gender-bending ‘Blitz Kids’ who went on to form many of the bands that would shape the musical landscape for the next decade. Names such as Boy George, Marilyn, Tony Hadley, Leigh Bowery and John Galliano were trend setting regulars. A place where beautiful people rubbed up alongside the weird and wonderful until the early hours and was the birth place of the New Romantics, a cultural movement that defined a decade of individuality, style and excess..."

You just need to dress up like your idol, your super star, the one you worship and maybe somehow feeling ashamed of. We decided this one, just to see a place full of celebrities dancing together. We wish you all a very happy new year full of music and great parties! We promise to do our best for both. 2008 left with the memories of some really cool event nights and a residency. We are ready to work on new projects and ideas that will take us one step further.

As you already know, we were residents for Plastik club from mid October to early November. We decided that residency doesn't suit our wild hearts. So, we will go on with different concepts and venues. We would like to thank Tareq for his support.

We would also like to thank you for attending our special event for friends @ Inoteka on 13/12/08. "Punks do it better" and you certainly know how to rock! The next one friend-party is coming up. Stay tuned!

We should also thank everyone who came at the annual Free Magazine's party on 15/12/08 @ Venue Club and reacted so positively with us trying to warm you up for Kitsune Maison Party.

It was great experience for us and we are very pleased to meet Russell and David from autoKratz, Joe and David from Punks Jump Up and saw again Jerry and Andrea from JBAG. Thank you guys for a great party!!

After that, we took some days off, we finished our third minimix and we started working on editing and remixing.. But we felt like needing a party!!!

So, during next week we will let you know for our next event!
